Overall I'm pleased with how this final piece turned out, I'm glad that I was able to incorporate my illustration style into the brief without comprising it too much so its still got my sort of touch to it. Additionally I'm happy in retrospect that I kept some of the more abstract imagery rather then swap it out for something more conventional, for example keeping the panel of a heart in the cake mix to convey the idea of putting your heart and soul into everything you make. Another aspect I like is how the piece doesn't stick to conventional boundaries, by this I mean each panel sort of invades the space of the others and vary rarely are the panels just simple boxes. However there are some aspects of it that if I were to re do this task I would change, for example I would try and be a bit more adventurous with the panel layouts more similarly to what I did with the first couple at the top. Perhaps over laying some of them would've added a bit more of an edge to my piece. Again maybe if I added in some more transitional images to help the piece flow a little more would've helped but I still think its easy enough to follow as it is. So to conclude as my first piece in this module I'm generally satisfied with my outcome.
